It has been reported while travelling from Milwaukee to California during a cross-country flight, Lil Wayne, 33 years old, suffered a seizure – forcing pilots to make a swift emergency landing in Omaha today. When the plane arrived in Omaha, he was coherent, but later refused any medical attention from paramedics. He re-boarded the plane to continue his flight and minutes later, suffered his second seizure, forcing the plane – to once again, make another emergency landing in Omaha. He was then transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Lil Wayne has had a history of epileptic seizures since he was a child – with previous incidents occurring in both 2012 and 2013. The latter being near fatal forcing him to spend 6 days in the hospital.
The rapper recently collaborated with 2 Chainz on the song “Bounce” earlier this year reigning in almost 13 million views on YouTube. As we know, he is still in the hospital receiving treatment.
