Chris Brown and Soulja Boy face off image

Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have agreed to go fist to fist in a boxing match.

It’s official, Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have agreed to go fist to fist in a boxing match and it’s probably gonna be a more hilarious watch than serious. But, that doesn’t undermine why you should engage. Here are the top 7 reasons why you should watch this fight:

1.It’s Gonna Be on Pay-per-view

The fact that it’s even made it this far goes to show that it’s serious. Usually any beef within the hip hop world usually only involves a few back and forth hits on social media and empty threats, to say the least, but this time Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have taken it to another level.

2. The Ring Decides

The shade is real and these fighters need be prepared for the humiliation that will ensue from their loss. We all know social media can make and break an artist’s career and this is no different. Look at the backlash that affected Meek Mill, Yung Joc, and of course the Ronda Rousey. She bragged about her ability to dominate any opponent and she was destroyed in 48 seconds by Amanda Nunes. All we know is, somebody’s about to take an ‘L’ in and outside the ring.

3. They’ve Got Legends In Their Corner

If you didn’t think this was real, then think again. Mayweather Productions is the promotion team because this fight, but Floyd Mayweather will also be in Soulja Boy’s corner. Of course 50 Cent clowns Mayweather saying comments like “…Floyd wants to train him so he can beat me”, “… You supposed to be the promoter…, “You ain’t supposed to be training the fighter, for him to fight the other fighter, ya feel me.” But of course, 50 Cent calls Mike Tyson and now he is officially in Chris Brown’s corner.

4. You Get to Have Another Party

Every pay-per-view event has a party! For those who cooked, bought food or drinks, and prepared for Rhonda Rousey’s epic fight. Sorry man, just take the L, you wasted money. But outside of the ridiculous fail, this fight is a must see. For the first time we have music artist in the ring, for real.  It just might be a good fight. And of course no party is complete without 50 Cent’s Effen Vodka

5. Chris Brown Will Get to Fight Legally

We don’t have to say much about this except, at least this time he won’t go to jail for it. #justsaying

6. Soulja Boy can do more than “Crank That”

His single that dropped back in 2007 was a huge hit. Huge as in it surpassed 27 million views on YouTube by 2008, and sold 5,080,000 downloads in the US. But, despite being one of the biggest dance fads, Soulja Boy can actually fight for real, if he can. With Mayweather in his corner, we may get a good show. He just might come out with a new single.

7. Because Other Rivals May Show Up

Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have racked up their own list of enemies within the past few months and don’t be surprised if they show up that night. The fact that they even have beef with anyone is beyond reason. But that wouldn’t stop them from showing up and rooting for a beat down. They can keep their hands clean in the process. We may see Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Lil Yachty, Quavo, and maybe Karrueche Tran in the front row. Who knows!
