Update (8:37 PM) : Chris Brown has been officially arrested and will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Update: Chris Brown may be charged later tonight for assault with a deadly weapon. Chris Brown didn’t assault anyone so I’m interested in seeing how the charges, if any pan out.
Damn! Chris Brown back at it again with police.
Chris Brown was arrested this afternoon for allegedly pulling out a gun on Miss California 2016, Baylee Curran, early Tuesday morning (late last night). Baylee Curran stated in an interview with TMZ, she was admiring some jewelry, reached out to touch the piece and a friend of Chris’ got angry, telling her not to touch anything. Brown, agreeing with his friend, asked her to leave – pulling out the weapon while she was being escorted off of the property.
To top it off, Curran was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before retrieve her phone and her shoes after partying in a Jacuzzi – in the interview Baylee says she refused to sign and then went on her way.
Around 3 am the pageant contestant called 911 and police responded by arriving at Brown’s property, where he refused to answer questions or allow police to enter his home – demanding police officers get a search warrant first.
Police have surrounded Breezy’s home all morning and afternoon with a SWAT team. At one point, Chris Brown allegedly dropped a duffle bag with at least one gun, drugs, and other weapons out of the window, taunting police saying “come get me” from the inside.
Witnesses at the LA home claim Brown was asleep throughout most of the night while Baylee Curran was there. Witnesses also say she was not directly invited to be in Chris’ home, arriving with another invited guest.
It’s also reported by TMZ, Ray J was an invited guest in the home and was getting a tattoo in one of the many rooms in the house; it’s unclear whether or not Ray J was near the alleged incident, however, he was later handcuffed by police and then released as he was leaving the property. Police did decide to confiscate Ray J’s BMW for evidence – forcing the Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood star to take an Uber home this morning.
In the meantime, Chris has made videos on Instagram, angrily expressing his frustration over the police being on his property and continually harassing the singer. Chris’ lawyers have been granted access into the home, while police wait outside to speak with him.
The singer can’t seem to get a break, in late June of this year, Breezy was accused of physically attacking his former manager Mike G in a drug-fueled rage.
