The “Dey Know” rapper was leaving the Blue Flame club right before the single car accident. The white Audi he was driving went over a guardrail, hitting two trees, ejecting him from the car. And then burst into flames. He died immediately on impact. Also, two female passengers had non-life-threatening injuries and are currently at Memorial Hospital.
As a member of the Atlanta-based hip-hop group D4L, Shawty Lo gained popularity with the chart-topping song “Laffy Taffy”.
Back in 2013 Shawty Lo and Oxygen television produced a TV show about Shawty and his 11 children with 10 baby mama’s called “All My Babies’ Mamas”. The show ended up cancelled before it had a chance to air – due to criticism over the show’s stereotypical content.
