Looks like Faith Evans may have been a bad girl. The first lady of Bad Boy Records is being sued for $100,000 by a promoter, Jeremy Hill, for breaking a standard non-compete clause in an agreement to perform at Wolf Creek Amphitheatre on September 10th. in Atlanta, GA. The contract’s clause specifies that Miss Evans was not to perform within a 100-mile radius of the venue for 6-months prior to the show date.

Problems arose when the Bad Boy Reunion Tour was announced featuring, guess who, Faith Evans, on a tour stop at Philips Arena on September 8th; two days before her scheduled concert at Wolf Creek Amphitheatre less than 20 miles away. Jeremy Hill was notified by representatives from the venue via email claiming he was “false advertising” an appearance from Faith Evans and 112.

Shortly after, Jeremy Hill heard Evans would be backing out after receiving $17,500 (half of her performance fee). This has been a difficult situation for the R&B Diva. The promoter of the Bad Boy Reunion Tour, Live Nation, threatened to remove her if she missed any dates, conflicting with the September 10th show (especially the Bad Boy Reunion show in Miami on the same night).

We would not blame Faith for performing on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour; instead of doing one show for one night, she could be in front of a larger crowd for the next few weeks, bringing her more attention. The Bad Boy Reunion Tour jumps off August 25th in Columbus, OH with Puff Daddy (I guess he is Puff Daddy again – for this tour at least), Lil’Kim, Mase, Mario Winans, French Montana, Carl Thomas, 112, The Lox and Total.
