Sunday night (July 31), Young Thug and his entourage were swarmed by the Pittsburgh, PA SWAT team after performing at the Southside Event Center for The Summer Jam Festival, which included performances from Hardo and PNB Rock. Security reported to police that a member of Young Thug’s crew was either waving a gun around or they recognized the presence of a weapon. Uniformed police officers and SWAT team aggressively approached Young Thug’s sprinter van with weapons drawn screaming to anyone within the area to “GET DOWN!” (please view the video below).
According to a report from TMZ, members of Thugga’s entourage did indeed have guns – four in fact, which were all licensed with the appropriate paperwork. Thankfully no one was injured or arrested – considering the current shootings involving police officers across the country within the past three months. All of this excitement brings more attention to the Calvin Klein womenswear model’s (yes, womenswear model) upcoming mixtape named Jeffery that will be released in the near future.
