Diddy and Lizzo

No good deed goes unpunished, some would say. Yesterday on Easter Sunday, Diddy, aka Sean Love Combs, held a “dance-a-thon” to help raise money for people working head-on with potential carriers of the coronavirus.

Diddy convinced a few of his famous friends to hop on Instagram live to dance songs during the ‘stay in place’ order in many states across America. Jennifer Lopez reunited with Diddy, along with her fiancè, baseball star Alex Rodriguez. Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, and Kelly Rowland participated.

In what came as sweet relief and fun to not only those bored at home — but also those who will receive the money raised for stepping up during this difficult time. Was cut short — well, not the event, but what happened caused drama on social media. Diddy went live with Lizzo, and the ‘Truth Hurts’ singer started twerking. Diddy then stopped the music said, “Let’s keep it family-friendly.”

Okay, no big deal, right? Wrong! When Diddy went live with actress-model Draya who danced to Juvenile‘s ‘Back That Azz Up’ started twerking — she went on uninterrupted. Now, Sean ‘Love’ Combs accused of not having ‘Love’ for the big girls. Yes, Diddy was called a ‘fat-shamer.’

In response to all the drama on social media, Diddy said the reason he stopped was that the song had a lot of “cursin in the record.” But Diddy made it clear you can twerk on Easter Sunday. Was Diddy lying? We’ll let you be the judge of that.
