Juice WRLD dead from Seizure in Midway Airport, 2 Bodyguards arrested, 70 lbs of Marijuana and prescription pills found by Authorities.

Emo-rapper Juice WRLD dead at 21. The “Lucid Dreams” artist suffered from a seizure at Chicago’s Midway Airport. Sadly Jarad Anthony Higgin, aka Juice WRLD, just celebrated his birthday on December 2nd — he signed his first deal after the release of his single “All Girls Are The Same” with Interscope Records. Juice WRLD’s best known for his platinum single “Lucid Dreams” — a particular track that not only took over urban/pop radio airwaves but stood No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

When paramedics reached the scene, they reportedly noticed Juice was bleeding from the mouth. He was pronounced deceased upon arrival at a local Chicago hospital at 3:15 AM. “This is being classified currently as a death investigation,” said Natalia Derevyanny, Director of Communication for the medical examiner’s office in Cook County. Derevyanny told Billboard, “There are no initial signs of foul play, and we are awaiting results from the medical examiner on the cause and manner of death.”

Juice WRLD’s untimely death is not only shocking but appears to be completely unexpected. Based on footage from inside his private jet, he was joking with his entourage and seemed to be in good health shortly before landing at Chicago Midway International Airport.

Officials reported the rapper was traveling with at least 12 people made up of the airline crew, entourage, and security detail.

During the investigation, police arrested two of Juice WRLD’s bodyguards for carrying concealed firearms. Both guards, 36-year-old Christopher Long and 27-year-old, Henry Dean did have a valid permit in Illinois; however, they were not allowed to bring those weapons into the airport.

They both face misdemeanor charges, Dean facing two counts, one for possession of a firearm, the other for a high capacity magazine.

Chicago PD is getting cooperation from the other passengers on board the private plane. Some recounting Juice taking several unknown pills throughout the flight.

Police also searched the private plane and located 70 lbs of vacuum-sealed marijuana and six bottles of prescription drugs hidden in suitcases. An arrest related to the drugs was not made; however, an investigation continues. Later reports from authorities indicate they were waiting on Juice WRLD’s plane to land after receiving a tip that they may have been traveling with contraband.

Juice battled with addiction, notably talking about his drug use, including Xanax and Percocet at a young age. He has openly discussed indulging in the use of lean in the 6th grade — information he shared with Billboard in a prior interview.

In an attempt to inspire others and turn his life around Juice WRLD expressed his desire to get clean. Juice tweeted, “Ima leave that s**t alone 4 good watch me, I’m done wit it, I got work to do, a lot. Learn from this everyone. Addiction kills all, but you can overcome.

Celebrities mourn the loss of Juice WRLD on social media.

Celebrities, friends, and collaborators have expressed sadness over the death of Juice WRLD. Drake weighed in on Instagram “I would like to see all the younger talent live longer, and I hate waking up hearing another story filled with blessings was cut short.”

Ski Mask The Slump God, 23, tweeted, “HE CANT BE GONE!” Collaborator Ellie Goulding tweeted as well “I can’t believe it… you were such a sweet soul, I’ll always remember meeting you and your family on the video set and thinking how close you were. You had so much further to go, you were just getting started. You’ll be missed, Juice.”

His evolution didn’t end with his journey to sobriety. Juice WRLD, and his engineer Max Lord was working on his third studio album — a project they intended to create as a clear distinction from his former albums Goodbye & Good Riddance and Death Race for Love.

An autopsy is expected to be perform to determine the exact cause of death.
